i think the only time i do ship personalities that clash are probably the whole “opposites attract” thing (with some special exceptions)

yeah that’s what i think too! 

i feel like that’s the situation??? although i really don’t want lucy to be heartbroken dlfkgjlkfjglkdsfg but i think if mashima decides to not have them end up together he’ll have her realize that natsu isn’t exactly ready for a relationship yet (even for one with lisanna) 

but a reason why i do like nali over nalu is because i feel like lisanna is more of the nurturing type? don’t get me wrong because i really love lucy but i feel like the personalities between her and natsu would kind of clash if they were to be romantically involved

because they are both kind of immature?? (that word has a negative connotation but i can’t think of a different word to say dflkgjldksfjg) meanwhile the other people i ship them with are kind of more mature in relationships i would think (ex. loke and gray)

i feel like lucy would fit more with a guy that is kind of smart with relationships because she’s inexperienced

I mean the fact that he doesn’t pay much attention to her naked body (although he could be ignoring it on purpose so he wouldn’t blush) makes me feel like it’s even more platonic than i originally thought i was

although it does look like lucy has feelings for him (especially that last panel)

ooh yes that’s totally how i would imagine it!!! tbh i would love if their sex was exactly like that because it just shows the whole evolution of their relationship (like how it still has that innocent love but it changed into something a lot more romantic and serious)

because no lie i have thought about how nali sex would be woops

i was honestly disappointed w/ this chapter??? 

i’m probably biased because of my love for nali but the whole thing with lucy being naked was unnecessary imo and he could’ve just gone ahead with the plot

although he did have natsu think of a plan that way???? and i did enjoy the jerza in it mmhmmm

but y’know mashima loves fanservice so //shrugs//

also natsu didn’t look too excited about lucy’s boobs imo he just looked indifferent about it??? like i think if it was lisanna he would blush a lot (because of how he acted when they were kids, but that could also be ruled out because he’s older now) and not grab her boobs

i’m not trying to demean the bond of nalu because i do think that the fact that he’s able to not blush around lucy’s boobs is also a big factor in showing how strong their bond is????

and yeah uh i just kinda threw my opinion out there sorry ^^;
